Sunlight was shining brightly through the blinds as Rory woke up next to a girl he vaguely remembered introducing herself as Maya or something after a long night of partying. He was still in a bit of a drunken daze as he tried to reach over to his nightstand and grab his phone to see what time it was. The clock read 1:12 PM and there were a bunch of texts and a few missed calls all from his Mom.
9:02 PM Mom - Hey Honey, I hope you didn’t party too much. Don’t forget we have plans tomorrow! Good night. Love you.
7:36 AM Mom - Morning. I just wanted to wish you a good morning and I can’t wait to see you today!

Dee casually shook her hand and offered, “Nice to meet you, too.” He watched her curiously.
She stretched her arms over her head and asked, “So, have you two had an interesting evening?”
Dee looked over at Korri, who slumped in her chair. Korri shrugged. Her mom looked at her and asked, “So, being turned into a girl isn’t very interesting anymore, huh?”

Dee Wright sighed as he finished tidying up the desk. He’d dusted, mopped, and organized, and not a single customer had stopped by. He cracked his neck gently and settled into his chair.
